Legislative Action Committee

Description

The Legislative Action Committee reviews legislature affecting businesses. They may write a letter of support or opposition to what is being proposed, or speak with politicians. If the committee determines that the Chamber will not take a position on a specific legislation, they may instruct the CEO to inform the membership, so that each member can take their own position, if they so choose.
The Committee also organizes the Candidate's Forum for local elections.
