Shay’s Warriors Survivors Reset Retreat

Rancho Mirage, CA - This Mother’s Day, Shay’s Warriors Life After Cancer will host its 4th annual
Mother’s Day Champagne High Tea at the iconic Wally’s Desert Turtle, bringing the community
together for one of the season’s most elegant and meaningful gatherings. The afternoon honors the
cherished memories of Nicole Botello and Aileen Alvarez while celebrating the strength, resilience,
and hope found within the survivor community.
This fundraising event supports cancer survivors through Shay’s Warriors’ transformative I AM HOPE
Survivors Reset Retreat, with proceeds helping provide scholarship opportunities for participants to
attend the annual program dedicated to healing, connection, and meaningful wellness experiences for
those navigating life after cancer. Hosted by Shay’s Warriors Life After Cancer in partnership with The
Ritz-Carlton, the event is made possible through the generous support of sponsors including
Eisenhower Health, Desert Oasis Healthcare, The City of Rancho Mirage to name a few. A limited number of sponsorship opportunities remain available for organizations wishing to support this meaningful cause.
For many survivors, finishing treatment is only the beginning of a new and often uncertain chapter.
Questions like “Who am I now?”, “How do I move forward?”, and “Why does life feel different?” are
common. The I AM HOPE Survivors Reset Retreat, taking place June 11 – 14 2026, during National
Cancer Survivor Month in Greater Palm Springs, offering survivors a four-day, three-night, all expenses
paid experience for cancer survivors to reset physically, emotionally, and spiritually alongside others who
understand the journey. The retreat brings together breast and reproductive cancer survivors who are within
one to five years past active treatment, offering a restorative weekend filled with wellness experiences
and community. Participants take part in thoughtfully curated programming including educational
discussions, emotional support conversations, wellness activities and topics like self-love, forgiveness,
and reconnecting with family and life after cancer.
